Health institutions: Sehat Kahani signs a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Railways – Pakistan
KARACHI: Sehat Kahani has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Railways, Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Railways.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Secretary/Chairman of Pakistan Railways, Government of Pakistan, Khalid Gardesi.
Under the MoU, Sehat Kahani will provide round-the-clock access to qualified medical professionals through its network of over 7,000 expert doctors to over 70,000 current employees and 150,000 retirees of Pakistan Railways, as well as their families.
As part of the partnership, Sehat Kahani would also create specialized packages for Pakistan Railways passengers through “On The Go” clinics at all major railway stations in Pakistan, where Pakistan Railways will provide on-the-job support. ground infrastructure, facilitate staff training and create visibility for Sehat Kahani’s suite of digital health services among its employees as well as its beneficiaries.
This MoU will mark the first public-private partnership of its kind between the Ministry of Railways/Pakistan Railways and Sehat Kahani, which will have a long-lasting impact on the health and well-being of millions of travelers and Pakistani railway workers.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Sehat Kahani, Ministry of Railways and Pakistan Railways. The MoU was signed between Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram, CEO Sehat Kahani and Mr. Imran Hayat Khan, Chief Operating Officer, Ministry of Railways.
